Welcome to Kohlhiasl-Höh in Oberschönau.

Our house, which has been family-run for three generations, is situated on a hill - with an unobstructed view of the entire Berchtesgaden Alps - in the middle of the Oberschönau plateau, between Berchtesgaden and Königssee at the foot of the Watzmann.

With its cosy rooms and rustic lounges, it fully meets modern requirements and invites you to relax and unwind. Varied walking paths lead you through our landscape in summer and winter. In our guesthouse Kohliasl-Höh, we offer you beautiful comfort single rooms as well as double rooms. Our rooms are ideal for a relaxing stay. All rooms have satellite TV, radio, hairdryer, shower/WC and balcony.

Our holiday flats from 3 to 4 stars welcome you warmly. All holiday flats have satellite TV, radio, hairdryer, shower/WC, balcony and good overall facilities. Bed linen and towels are provided. Enjoy the wonderful view of the Berchtesgaden Alps from here.

In the morning, we serve you a comfort breakfast with buffet according to your wishes in our breakfast room. A garden terrace is at your disposal. In the evening, you can enjoy a la carte snacks and a good drop of wine in our various rooms. For your sporting activities we offer a room with table tennis and fitness equipment.

In our steam sauna you can relax at 60 degrees after strenuous mountain tours or after skiing or cross-country skiing. Or do you prefer to sweat at 95 degrees in the Finnish sauna to cleanse and revitalise body, mind and soul? Afterwards, treat yourself to a break in the relaxation room. Even in bad weather, the sun shines in our solarium.
