When Francesco and Monia Micci first saw the farm and old abandoned farmhouse in 1999, they were struck not only by the beautiful location overlooking a charming part of Lake Trasimeno, but also by the fascination and energy of the place which combined the austereness of stone structures with the plasticity of a pristine natural environment in a harmony of colors, scents, and sounds.

This profound contact with the place and the choice of a lifestyle based on nature, tradition, and spirituality give birth to the plan of purchasing the farm in order to create an accommodation structure that would be a place for gathering, for well-being, for spirituality. With our previous experience as experts on local development and tourism, we sought to combine our professional and personal experience with the strength, energy and fascination of the place to establish a place of sojourn characterized by the connection between man and the elements of the universe.
