Our hotel is located in the quiet and idyllic village of Rottau near Grassau. From the hotel you can enjoy the marvellous natural landscape and explore the most beautiful hiking trails. The famous Lake Chiemsee, also known as the Bavarian Sea, is only 4 kilometres away and invites you to swim and relax. Some rooms have a private sauna on the balcony (for a fee).

We have renovated our hotel with great attention to detail, taking care to retain the Bavarian tradition and flair. With a total of 8 rooms and 3 holiday flats, we offer you a wonderful and relaxing holiday in a family-run hotel near Lake Chiemsee. Rooms with cherry wood furniture
For the rooms, we have relied on the skills of local craftsmen who have furnished each room with specially made cherry wood furniture. The quality is particularly noticeable in the exceptional feel-good character. Each room has a spacious balcony with mountain views.

Fish specialities, Bavarian delicacies, vegan and international dishes. The Fischerstüberl restaurant is all about cosiness and, of course, good food! In the restaurant's parlours, we have paid attention to a modern yet Bavarian touch. So you can enjoy our specialities with family or friends. When selecting our products, we pay particular attention to choosing as many regional suppliers as possible. We can offer you various rooms for parties or events. On the newly designed sun terrace you can enjoy our numerous specialities with friendly service and excellent cuisine. We are especially known for our fish dishes. The fish is sourced from certified organic fish suppliers - quality that is reflected in the flavour.

The region around Rottau offers a variety of exciting holiday activities. Whether you are looking for a restful, relaxing holiday in nature or are hungry for action and exercise - you will find the right offer in Chiemgau. In summer there are numerous hiking trails, cycle tours and mountain bike routes to choose from. The famous Chiemsee, with its beach bars and lidos, is just a 10-minute drive away and invites you to enjoy a relaxing beach holiday.

In winter, you have a large selection of different ski areas, all of which can be reached in a short time by car. Some hiking trails are also open in winter and make for great and extensive winter hikes. Other popular winter sports are cross-country skiing and tobogganing.
