Welcome to the Pension am Markt in Suhl in the Thuringian Forest.

Our cosy and family-run Pension am Markt is centrally located in the city centre, just a 2-minute walk from the market square.

We have 16 spacious, modern guest rooms, a breakfast room and lounge, beer garden and a small wellness area with sauna and relaxation room. The rooms are equipped with shower, WC, radio, cable TV and telephone. In the immediate vicinity (1 minute walk) we offer you a beautiful flat and since July 2013 for you 4 more brand new "Apartments am Stadtpark".

The breakfast room and lounge are available to our guests around the clock and offer the right atmosphere for cosy hours. In the summer months, our guests feel particularly at home on the terrace and in the beer garden. The rich breakfast is prepared according to your individual wishes. The homemade sausage specialities prepared by the owner are particularly popular.

From class reunions or birthdays to diamond weddings: we are happy to cater for your celebrations from 20 to 30 people. You will enjoy a qualified selection of drinks, which we will be happy to expand in advance according to your wishes. Our food is particularly delicious. Whether from the buffet or served by us at the table. You decide the menu together with us. We deliberately avoid the use of pre-cooked products during preparation. With our freshly prepared dishes, we create a culinary setting to suit the occasion.

And after the party, it's only a few steps to bed. No waiting, no taxi - simple and convenient. Wonderfully cosy!

As the Pension am Markt is located in the centre of Suhl, you can reach the most important sights on foot in no time at all.
For example, the Suhl market square with the town hall and the town's landmark - the Suhl armourer - are well worth a visit.
From the market square, you can take a stroll along Steinweg and shop in the numerous shops there or make yourself comfortable in a café.

Other places to visit during your stay in Suhl include the weapons museum, the vehicle museum or the Ottilienbad, which is particularly popular with families with small children.

Ottilienkapelle in SuhlFor nature lovers, a short hike up the Domberg is an absolute must. From the town centre, it takes around 15 minutes to reach the Ottilienkapelle chapel, from where you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of Suhl.
If you want to go even higher, the top of the Bismarck Tower (approx. 30 minutes from the city centre) offers fascinating views over Suhl and the Thuringian Forest.
