A historic building in a new guise....
The Ankerhof Hotel is centrally yet quietly located in the city centre on a branch of the Saale and was built as a warehouse in 1836. After extensive renovation work, the hotel has been run as a 4-star leisure and conference hotel since 1997.

The Ankerhof Hotel has 50 individually designed single and double rooms, including one suite and two rooms for the disabled. All rooms are quietly located with a partial view of the Saale. They are all comfortably furnished and equipped with: Shower/WC, hairdryer, make-up mirror, direct dial telephone, wireless LAN, safe, radio, cable TV, Sky and minibar.

The rooms are soundproofed and fully air-conditioned in the attic. The mighty natural stone walls made of local porphyry and an impressive wooden beam construction in the former warehouse of the Royal Main Customs Office characterise the architectural style of the restored Ankerhof Hotel.

The Saalekahn restaurant, located directly on the Saalearm, is situated in the ANKERHOF Hotel courtyard. With seating for up to 150 guests, separate rooms and a unique terrace, we cater to the needs of our a la carte guests and banqueting events.
Our head chef and his team will spoil you with regional German cuisine and international specialities in a maritime ambience.

Our extensive leisure and recreation area is sure to be of interest to you. Here you will find a fitness club with state-of-the-art fitness equipment and trained trainers.
Our sauna area with its spacious relaxation zone is particularly attractive. Enjoy the peace and relaxation in our beauty and wellness area with massage and solariums.

In the impressive natural stone vault of the bowling bar, deep below the hotel, 6 modern bowling lanes await you, ideally suited for individual guests and also for company events for up to 60 people. Das Hotel ist sehr schön restauriert und auch entsprechend dem Stil geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Sauber und gepflegt. Servicepersonal war sehr nett besonders auch im Hafenkaan Restaurant. Das Receptionspersonal hätte freundlicher sein können, besondets bei Anreise etwas ruppig.

sehr schön gelegenes Hotel, sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Zentrale Lage, Halles Innenstadt ist fussläufig erreichbar. die zugehörige Gastststätte Saalekahn ist eine Empfehlung, gutes Essen, nette Bedienung, also rundrum sehr gut. Das gegenüber liegende Hallorenmuseum ist einen Besuch wert. Das Parken ist etwas problematisch, wenig Platz.
