Welcome to the Strandhotel in Varel-Dangast.

Our beach hotel in the Frisian town of Dangast offers its guests the special flair of a Wadden Sea idyll. Regular guests, who we now welcome every year to our hotel on the beach with a sea view, feel right at home with us. This is not only due to the exposed location of our hotel, where you stay in the front row of the Wadden Sea. In the immediate vicinity you will find beach facilities, the cultural centre with medical bathing facilities, numerous leisure activities (horse riding, fishing, cycling) and for those interested in art, the Dangast art trail. Our family hotel by the sea offers everything that makes a holiday on the coast an unforgettable experience.

Our 15 comfort double rooms and one family room with 2 bedrooms (all non-smoking rooms), some with balcony or loggia and sea view, fulfil even the highest demands.
All rooms have a bath/WC or shower/WC, hairdryer, safe, satellite TV, radio, direct dial telephone and, on request, a cot. Bright and friendly colours and upscale furnishings with a sitting area and desk will make you feel right at home, whatever the weather.

Parents who want to spend a relaxing seaside holiday with their children will feel well looked after in our family hotel on the North Sea.

Enjoy the first meal of the day in our beautiful breakfast room or, in good weather, on the sun terrace with sea view. Fortify yourself at our sumptuous breakfast buffet. Here you will find a large selection of different delicacies.

You can enjoy the view of the lake in the cosy and sophisticated atmosphere of our café.
Sweet delicacies are a tradition in our beach café. How about delicious cakes and tarts, always fresh from our own patisserie? Or would you prefer a refreshing ice cream sundae? We also have a lot to offer beach flaneurs - it's definitely worth taking a break in our beach café, which has already become a crowd-puller during the summer months.

Here you can also choose home-style cooking a la carte. Perhaps a cold beer to go with it? And of course there's a children's plate for the little ones. In the evening we also offer our guests a buffet.
