Welcome to the Gasthof zur Mühle

Dear guests, we look forward to welcoming you to our family-run hotel. The Gasthof zur Mühle is situated in a quiet location in the centre of the Wildeshauser Geest in the municipality of Hatten.

The Stolle family is the fifth generation to run the Gasthof Zur Mühle. The name was not chosen at random. Originally our house was a windmill. After a fire in 1929, the mill was modernised. From then on, the grinder was powered by electricity. While the farmers waited for their grain to be ground, they refreshed themselves with food and drink in the neighbouring pub. The pub was granted a licence in 1911. Since 1985, the wings of the mill have stood still and our establishment has been run exclusively as a hotel and restaurant.

We offer our hotel guests comfortable and cosy rooms. We have nine double rooms and three single rooms, each equipped with shower and WC, TV and telephone. Our family room also has a sofa bed and a separate children's room. Furthermore, free W-LAN is available around the clock. Our guests also have a free car park directly at the hotel.

Game dishes, Oldenburg kale, Munderloher asparagus, eel, Emder Mattjes, ... our region offers many culinary specialities, which our kitchen prepares fresh and tasty depending on the season.

Some events in life call for a special setting. And you've come to the right place. Celebrate with up to 60 people in our large conservatory. The adjoining summer terrace offers space for a further 50 people. The restaurant with fireplace, the old sawmill and the small conservatory are ideal for smaller parties of up to 40 people. And if you wish, you can take a walk in our large garden or relax by the natural pond between courses.

We are happy to put together a menu for you and your guests in consultation with you.

Our house is situated in a quiet location in a suburb of Hatten. It has excellent transport connections: The A28 motorway can be reached in two minutes. The surrounding area with the Wildeshauser Geest Nature Park invites you to take relaxing walks. The hotel is an ideal starting point for excursions to Oldenburg, Bremen or the North Sea coast.
