The small village of Aufenau lies between Bad Soden-Salmünster and Bad Orb with a marvellous view of the lovely Kinzig valley on the German Fairy Tale Route. It is an ideal starting point for excursions in the region. Here we welcome you to our cosy and quietly situated Landgasthof Zur Quelle, a welcoming hotel and restaurant that is now in its fifth generation of family ownership.

Relax in one of our modern, comfortable single, double or family rooms with shower or bath/WC, cable TV, WLAN, telephone, hairdryer and balcony. Enjoy your time in the solarium and in our sauna and look forward to a rich breakfast buffet.

In our cosy restaurant with 55 seats we serve traditional regional cuisine, dishes from our own butchery and seasonal delicacies. We recommend our adjoining room for smaller celebrations. The hall has 150 seats and is suitable for celebrations of all kinds. Our conference room is perfectly equipped for seminars, training courses and conferences, and after work you can have fun bowling at our own bowling alley.

When the weather is fine, our garden with sunbathing lawn and water treading pool is a popular meeting place. The beer garden with its 20 seats also guarantees sociable hours.

Our house has a lift. The car parks are right next to the house.
Our motorhome pitches leave nothing to be desired. They are in a quiet location and yet you have our inn with restaurant and beer garden next door. Shopping facilities are within walking distance and an extensive playground offers space to let off steam.
