Dambach-la-Ville
Hotel
Located in the heart of Alsace on the Wine Road between Colmar and Strasbourg, Dambach-la-ville is a little picturesque village, encircled by ramparts and flanked by 3 mediaeval towers. Run by the Mersiol family since 1896, our hotel-restaurant is situated right next to one of those towers. The "Winstub" (wine tavern) decorated with traditional paneling is housed in the oldest part of the establishment. The basement contains a very old cellar where the owner makes his own wine in numerous oak barrels. Make your visit even better by taking a guided tour of the cellar given by the owner or a guided visit of the medieval city by train. In the restaurant, homemade Alsatian wines are served with the delicious dishes. You can also buy bottles to take home to add to your cellar. Decorated with old furniture with warm, deep colors, the dining room can seat up to 100 people. Our Cuisine: exquisite, regional and good home cooking. Discover the "Winstub" : Munster coulis, oignon tarte ... And in the vast room our specialities: Alsatian Fondue, fish dishes served with wine cream sauces, venison and wild boar dishes, and of course our
fish and traditional sauerkraut.
