After travelling the world for 20 years working in the medical industry, I decided to settle down and start a new life in the heart of France.

The Château d'Ygrande, created from scratch, had to honour all the charming, tasteful and generous places that my travels and stays in other countries and their hotels had so often offered me. My promise naturally became to bring together in one place all the ideals that I had experienced.

So I wanted Château d'Ygrande to be an authentic, charming hotel, without condescension, where our guests are treated with the utmost respect and assured of our attention, our concern and the boundless kindness of our team.
