Welcome to Hotel Restaurant Scheid and to Schriesheim, a more than 1200 year old town with a long history of wine making, near the world famous city of Heidelberg with its well known University.

Our house is located in the Valley of Schriesheim at the edge of the Odenwald Forest. The ideal starting point for visiting Heidelberg or a trip to the area known as Kurpfalz.

Our central location between Mannheim and Heidelberg (5 minutes to motorway A5) makes us ideal for bus-travelling, conferences and business travellers. And in case you have something to celebrate: we have the perfect ambience for weddings, birthdays and work outings.

Our house offers 120 beds in 60 rooms, all with shower, WC, phone and Sat-TV.

Start the day with a large continental breakfast-buffet.

In the evening you have the choice between the restaurant with the forest-view, the Bistro Peperoni and the beergarden.

And if you are looking for activities: Trails around the house invite you for a walk and your Kid´s find a playground in front of the house. For your meetings we have seminar-rooms with modern technical equipment and a view on greens and woods.
