It gives us very great pleasure to present DER EUROPÄISCHER HOF HOTEL EUROPA in Heidelberg, which has been a privately run hotel in the family of the present owner-managers for three generations.

Since 1865 der EUROPÄISCHE HOF has been a home from home for cultivated travelers in search of timeless traditional charm, atmosphere, and service. The name of our establishment stands for all that is best in European hotel culture and for exceptional standards of service.

Our 100 single and double rooms, 14 junior suites, 3 apartments and the penthouse suite are individually appointed and decorated, with facilities and conveniences well up to top international standards: adjustable air-conditioning, radio and cable TV (30 channels including CNN), PAY-TV, fax and modem connections, wireless LAN, room safe, trouser-press, minibar; bathrooms have telephone and radio extensions and in many cases whirlpool/jacuzzi etc..

With the plashing fountains in the daytime and the view of the wooded Gaisberg hills, it is hardly surprising that visitors try to prolong their stay as long as they can. In cultivated surroundings like these it's easy to feel at home from the outset.

For the discerning diner the seasonal à la carte selection or the gourmet menu in the KURFÜRSTENSTUBE restaurant, for the guest in a hurry the smaller, light-weight dishes in the EUROP-TREFF cafeteria, for the bon vivant an aperitif or a night-cap in the EUROPA-BAR - from 6 a.m. to midnight we have whatever takes your fancy.

And in the warmer months of the year you can sample the culinary specialties served in the SUMMER RESTAURANT.

The Panorama SPA Club provides a haven of well-being high up over the roofs of Heidelberg. It consists of a sauna, sanarium, steam-bath, solarium, swimming-pool, the latest fitness equipment, and a sun terrace that commands a spectacular view of Heidelberg’s world-famous Castle.
