Welcome to Pension Pica-Pau Estoril - we hope you will enjoy our friendly, family atmosphere. We have 35 rooms, a magnificent swimming pool, restaurant and bar. We won the Gold Award in Thomson Holiday's Small & Friendly category. Situated in a residential area of close to the former mansions of the exiled King of Spain and the exiled King of Romania, Pension Pica-Pau is built in typical Portuguese style and is decorated throughout with traditional Portuguese tiles and on its façade with hand-painted tiles. All the 35 bedrooms are fitted with double glazing and comprise of bathroom with bath and shower, WC, telephone, cable TV, and safe (free). Some of the rooms have a small balcony. The focal point is the large swimming pool and sun-terrace, surrounded by small flower beds. There are tables and chairs placed strategically around for 'al fresco' lunches. The Pica-Pau restaurant is renowned in the area for its grill specialities, especially its chicken piri-piri, and is a popular venue for locals.
