The hotel La Gaviota is allocated in Playa Santiago, avery peaceful place in the south of La Gomera.

Just by the beach, with a wonderful sight over the sea and the small fishing harbour, you will find plenty of restaurants where you can taste fresh fish and other typical products of the island.

Pension La Gaviota is open all year around. We got 10 double rooms to your disposal, all with bath rooms.

6 of the rooms have a beautiful view over the sea, and 4 have a partial view looking over the fishing harbour.

If you are hungry, come and visit Bodegon del Mar next to La Gaviota. We will offer you an endless menu of baguettes, hamburgers, pizzas and natural, freshly made fruit juices or milkshakes.

Playa Santiago (Alajero) is known as the Earth of bread, a fertile soil where you can find wheat, barley, tropical fruits……

Playa Santiago’s origins goes back to the fishermen, who established on this coast, and the tuna factory that later was built.
