The Hotel Schlicker is situated in the heart of Munich where a genuine example of Bavarian hospitality can be found. Also in close vicinity is the splendid Frauenkirche, the Hofbrauhaus (renowned beer hall) the Residenz, (Royal Palace), National Theatre and the Hofgarten (the royal palace courtyard). A few minutes walk away are the splendid boulevards, Maximilian- and Theatinerstrasse. Way back in 1544, the house is mentioned in Munich’s oldest property registration book. For more than four centuries the property remained in private hands, until the year 1897 when the family Meier turned the house into a hotel, which they have managed to maintain meanwhile for four generations. As a guest you can expect a comfortable and modern hotel, which is tastefully furnished and offers first class comfort. In 1993 the hotel was completely converted and modernised.
