The Residence Tirol is located in an idyllic hillside in the village of Luson/South Tyrol. The village centre with shopping facilities and the beautiful natural bathing pond can be reached in only 7-8 minutes. The Luson Valley is a quiet tributary of the Isarco Valley and welcomes you in a natural mountain landscape, which is dominated by the mighty peaks of the Sas de Putia at the end of the valley. The 2,875-meter mountain is part of the UNESCO World Natural Heritage Dolomites and is the backdrop for your varied holidays in South Tyrol. Your holiday region consists of vast high mountain pastures, fabled meadows and deep Luson forest. Old traditions still live on in our alpine region and are celebrated on various occasions during the year.

The five cosy holiday apartments at the Residence Tirol are inviting and authentic. Plenty of wood from the surrounding forests highlights the traditional charm of the accommodations. The untreated fir and pine wood gives off a gentle scent of freshly cut trees. The comfortable furnishings of the apartments include a room safe, flat screen satellite television, modern bathrooms and cooking facilities. An internet connection is available in all accommodations. Towels and sheets are made of cotton and linen and don’t contain electrostatically charged synthetic fibres.

Outside the apartment there is a small and welcoming wellness area with Finnish sauna, whirlpool and relaxation room. In addition, at the Residence Tirol in Luson/South Tyrol there is a cosy lounge with piano and reading corner.

The garden apartment is located in a beautiful and well-kept house in a quiet location, only a few minutes’ walk from the Residence Tirol, and very close to the village centre. On 110 square meters you’ll find a kitchen, a separate living room, two double bedrooms, a single bedroom, a bathroom with bath tub, shower and toilet, an extra day toilet and a small storage room. Furthermore, there is a balcony facing west and a large south-facing terrace towards the garden. The garden has an area of ​​120 square meters and adds to the home a nice and big outdoor space. Like the apartments at the Residence Tirol, also this apartment is equipped with dishes, fine linen, satellite TV and washing machine. In the kitchen, besides an electric cooker there is also a wood stove.

A beautiful hiking area, the Alpe di Luson, is located right outside the front door of your accommodation. A beautiful hiking trail leads around the Sas de Putia with its distinctive summit. Once a week we offer guided hikes in the magnificent mountain scenery that lead to fantastic views and idyllic pastures. A lovely hiking destination is the medieval castle in Rodengo with foundations from the 12th century. Near the community of Luson, the old town of Bressanone invites you to a visit. In the narrow, winding streets of the old town, tiny boutiques, small shops and restaurants await you. In the winter months, the free ski bus takes you quickly and comfortably to the ski resort Bressanone/Plose with the longest downhill slope in South Tyrol and the spectacular toboggan run “Rudy Run”.
