Welcome to Alpengasthof Alpenrosenhof! At the 1st of August 1960 the hotel was opened and since then we have opened every year in the season from May to October. 1992 we have a great renovation at the building, with painting and new equipment. We have 20 beds in single- and double rooms, all rooms with hot and cold water. The shower and the toilet are at the corridor. Our kitchen serves warm meals all the day. We have a rich choice of beverages served at our bar. The penser joch can be the start- or target point for many activities. The penser joch is a really good base camp for tours. You have several possibilities for tours. Motorbike tours: Driving to the north you reach after 18 km Sterzing and if you drive to the south you reach after 50 km Bozen. Hiking: from the hotel you reach after 20 min. the "Penser Joch Lake". Please ask us for the right way - but it is very simple. Bicycle tours: From Sterzing you can drive 18 kilometres the road up to us. The difference between Sterzing and the penser joch is about 963 meters and max. 13% ascending slope.
