Welcome to the Alpengasthof Götschenalm in Bischofswiesen-Loipl!

We welcome you to one of the most beautiful places in Bischofswiesen. In summer hiking tours possible from the house and in winter directly at the SKI-centre Götschen valley station. The Götschenalm is a G 3* alpine inn with 30 guest beds. Your relaxation is our goal, hospitality is our strength.

We offer lovingly furnished guest rooms. All rooms are equipped with flat-screen satellite TV, hairdryer, alarm clock and modern shower and WC as well as balcony or terrace. We also offer W-Lan for our guests. We wish you a "good morning" with our rich breakfast buffet; the right start for a wonderful day in Bischofswiesen.

Let us spoil you in our rustic alpine hut with delicacies from Bavaria and Austria. However, should we ever have a mishap, we would be grateful if you could let us know so that we can do justice to your wishes. You are also welcome to book our Alm for special occasions and we will be happy to assist you in organising your celebrations.

The extensive range of activities in the Berchtesgadener Land leaves nothing to be desired! The world of alpine pastures and mountains invites hiking enthusiasts to discover the Berchtesgadener Land in all its diversity on extensive tours of all levels of difficulty. The extensive network of hiking trails promises to explore every little corner of the region around the Watzmann. Guided hikes or theme hikes with experienced mountain guides are also popular.

For adventurers, the Berchtesgadener Land offers rock-solid climbing fun, whether normal mountaineering with easy climbing, for recreational climbers, free-climbers to ice climbing and bouldering, with rope, hook and carabiner you can climb any mountain here. Of course, there are also offers for beginners and taster courses so that you don't have to take your first steps alone. Between idyllic lakes and the mountain panorama of the Berchtesgadener Land with its wide valleys, cyclists will also find their perfect route. The extensive network of cycle paths offers many combination possibilities from relaxed adventure cycling, family cycling to sport cycling. The Götschenalm is an ideal starting point for wonderful tours through the mountains of the Berchtesgadener Land, whether for hiking, mountain biking or cycling. The SalzAlpenTours have been designated as a premium hiking trail. The SalzAlpenTour around the Götschen starts directly at the Götschenalm and reaches its highest point on the summit of the Toten Mann (1,394m). Also discover the other tours along the Götschen.

Whether for dreamers, adventurers, recreation seekers or piste kings, the wintry Berchtesgadener Land promises versatility. Barely 20 kilometres from Salzburg, in the middle of the eastern Bavarian Alps, the Watzmann (2,713m) towers over the region as a landmark. The Berchtesgadener Land, with its four municipalities Bischofswiesen, Marktschellenberg, Ramsau and Schönau am Königssee, offers the complete winter package: a piste paradise for skiers and snowboarders with a total of 50km of slopes spread over 5 ski areas. 84km of groomed cross-country trails invite you to unlimited cross-country skiing pleasure through the fantastic winter landscape. Afterwards, the Watzmanntherme with its spacious sauna area awaits you.

But winter holidays are also possible without skis & co: 120km of cleared paths for winter hiking, curling at Hintersee or Aschauerweiher, ice skating in the ice rink in Berchtesgaden or tobogganing on natural toboggan runs. Or do you fancy tobogganing like the local Olympic champion Georg Hackl? No problem on the artificial ice rink at Königssee. Equally popular are horse-drawn sleigh tours through the winter landscape or evening torchlight hikes followed by a stop at a mountain hut.
