Welcome to the guest house Seeklause!

Our guest house and restaurant is in the Alpen-Nationalpark, which is between the Zauberwald and the Klausbach.

Our house is adjacent to the lake, with a breath taking view of the country and mountain side.

In our familyrun guesthouse, our newlydecorated rooms are approx 36 sq.m.

All double rooms have shower/ WC, Sat-TV and a south-facing balcony and beautiful views of the Lake (Hintersee ) and Hochkaltern.

Our single rooms and apartment at the rear of the house and a view of the Reiteralpe.

We also welcome you to our comfortable restaurant and our sunny terrace where you can sample our local food, and our specials from our Hubertus – Grill.

In our kitchen we serve only the freshest food, fish and game from our local farmers. Meat, sausage and cheese from Eisenbichler farm, and our ice cream from Stöcklhof – Hochschwarzeck.

We season our food with only natural products, seasalt, pepper and herbs. We ask you to have “a bit more time” for us as we prepare your meal, so please relax and enjoy yourself.

We've stayed several times and love the area and the hotel. Very nice hosts and delicious food.

Wonderful location. Friendly, helpful staff. Manager couple are outstanding and the food is excellent! Have lived in Germany over ten years and this is by far the most wonderful place to stay and relax in the Bavarian Alps. Close to many sites, including Salzburg, Berchtesgarden and Konigsee.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage der Seeklause ist wirklich eine Oase der Erholung.
