Set in the ancient village Gressoney La Trinité at the foot of Monte Rosa's impressive massif, "Lo Scoiattolo" is a hotel, where relax and comfort merge with the exquisite hospitality of the owners.

After a complete renovation in 2010, you will find a new reception area, a reading room with a warm fireplace, a renovated dining room, more comfortable rooms and other surprises. However, you will always find that mountain and familiar style that has characterized us all through these past years.

The tranquillity of this place also emanates from the bedrooms that are cosily furnished in the typical Aosta Valley's style. Some of them have a balcony and a wooden parquet. All are equipped with Shower, hairdryer, television, telephone, safe and wireless.

Since the owners take personally care of the cuisine, our restaurant is a good meeting point for gourmets. In fact, Silvana and Azzurra offer meticulously prepared and tasty dishes from Aosta Valley's tradition. In the extensive cellar you can find all Aosta Valley's products and a lot of national brands. Sitting near a typical "walser" stone stove, you can spend delightful evenings in a unique atmosphere, which - according to Gressoney's ancient tradition - is cheered up by different kinds of "grappa", by genepy (a herb liqueur) and by "caffè alla valdostana" (coffee made on the basis of a local recipe).

After a day on skis or a walk in the woods, enjoy the restful and reassuring atmosphere in our Relax Centre. Sauna, Turkish bath, whirlpool, solarium, fitness room and massage are the perfect complements to a very agreeable holiday.
