The La Forcola Hotel takes its name from one of the most characteristic elements of the Venetian gondola, called precisely the forcola: the special kind of oarlock that is essential for the Venetian style of rowing.

The Hotel is housed in an ancient Palace in the heart of the historic center, immersed in the characteristic and peaceful Venetian atmosphere. The building has been recently restructured to offer our guests a pleasant environment, provided with exclusive comforts such as, for example, the elevator, a really unique service compared to the other hotels in Venice.

The hotel is furnished in classic style, sober and elegant, strongly featuring the use of wood, a material that gives the atmosphere a special warmth.

The comfortable rooms of the La Forcola Hotel are situated on three floors of an ancient Venetian palace: those on the upper floor all have a splendid terrace overlooking the ancient Corte del Volto Santo, while the others overlook the characteristic Rio Terà della Maddalena.

The 23 rooms have been recently restored and tastefully furnished in classic style, with furniture in solid wood, fine fabrics and luxury finishes. All the rooms are equipped with every comfort: air conditioning, color satellite TV, minibar, phone and private bath.
