A holiday at the Posta Marcucci Hotel offers you the chance to relax in the magical atmosphere of Bagno Vignoni, immersed in the colours of Val d'Orcia and in the gentle tranquillity of the Tuscan countryside.

Our 36 rooms are classified into three types, Standard, Junior and Superior, which all share the same character and simplicity. The interior design of each room has been well thought out, and alongside antique family furniture are to be found more practical modern items, which, together, create an original, comfortable whole with a homely feel, that is completed with classic furnishing fabrics. Our water rooms are connected to the outdoor swimming pool, but are used exclusively by Hotel guests. They are our spa where you can relax and pamper yourself, choosing from a hydro-massage, a Finnish and bio-saline sauna and a Turkish bath.

Our historical restaurant’s cuisine is deeply rooted in the area and in our family tradition. It has been kept up to date over the years through the valuable professional skills of our staff. Recipes from a range of national dishes have been used alongside local ones to create a menu that is replete with tasty and refined suggestions. Care over raw material choice and dish presentation are a topic of constant dialogue with our staff.

Our breakfast cakes and jams, as well as our fresh pasta are all home made to keep the taste for genuine ingredients and real flavours alive.

Our wine list is an interesting overview of the best Tuscan labels together with a careful selection of national wines.

Our veranda room overlooking the swimming pool is available for private banquets and lunches. An imperial table which can be set for up to 20 covers is available, and we are able to offer our guests a personalised menu complete with advice on the choice of dishes.

Our Wellness Area completes our Hotel wellness menu. It is a Beauty Centre whose specialist staff are only too pleased to help our guests choose the most suitable beauty treatments and massages, and to provide them with personalised professional advice.

Take walks through the pleasant hills and fields where the eye looses itself in the distance. Immerse yourself in the vapours of warm beneficial waters, then have massages and experience some relaxing care to pamper yourself and slow down the pace. If you want, just finish up by lazing about and doing nothing.

In the heart of Tuscany there is a perfect landscape that has never changed, formed of hills, gullies, sinuous rivers, isolated country houses and ancient churches. In this area that was once rich in volcanoes, thermal waters form concretions of rare beauty. For millennia these waters have offered wellbeing to travellers who have come here even from afar. Val d’Orcia is also a land of strong flavours, from the great wines such as Brunello, oil, and truffles, to the great cheeses such as the Pecorino of Pienza.
