Welcome to the Hotel Hermitage in San Marco di Castellabate!

Plunged into the untouched nature of the Cilento and Vallo di Diano National Park, declared by UNESCO "World Heritage Site": Castellabate is a picturesque town characterized by narrow alleys, stairways, arches, small squares and houses in grey tuff, set on a hill overlooking the spectacular view of the coastline between Punta Licosa and the Tresino cape.

The navy blue seems to stretching out in every corner of this town with a strong seafaring vocation: so it is clear the mixture between road and beach, promenade and cliff, the all surrounded by the intense fragrance of broom and typical Mediterranean vegetation.

Our comfortable rooms are plain furnished but stylish reflecting the local style and are equipped with all modern comforts: TV cable and satellites channels, minibar, safe deposit box, direct dialing telephone, heating, air conditioning, hairdryer and internet wireless connection, most with sea view and many overlooking Cilento hills.

We have 35 rooms, 11 of which are located on the 1st and 2nd floor of the main entrance from the parking lot and 8, which look like sea view hill. Some of the rooms, most with 3rd and 4th bed, have a large front patio overlooking the garden, others are in the pool.

The restaurant does a "Mediterranean" cuisine and offer a good selection of local Cilento typical dishes as well the traditional regional Italian recipies, all prepared using fresh and seasonal ingredients as buffalo mozzarella, local fish, meat and vegetables. A big buffet breakfast is served the morning on the scenic terrace overlooking the swimming pool.

The pool of the Hotel Hermitage is equipped with deckchairs and umbrellas to let you spending comfortable impressive and relaxing moments.
