The Allgäu Residenz is a completely renovated hotel complex near Wiggensbach, a few kilometres north-west of the district town of Kempten. It is located in the middle of the triangle formed by Kempten, Isny and Leutkirch – right in the heart of the Allgäu! Our former historic and listed hunting lodge and summer residence was built around 500 years ago on the initiative of Kempten Abbey. Nowadays, it welcomes guests in an idyllic location, surrounded by green forests, fertile fields and babbling brooks. Ideal for hiking, cycling and experiencing nature to the full. Stylish rooms and apartments with modern amenities promise peace and relaxation. The in-house Residenz restaurant, with its various dining rooms, will spoil you with hearty, home-style southern German cuisine. Just as it should be. From time to time, our musicians also play their ‘Styrian’ music to introduce guests to our traditions and our homeland. And when it rains and the weather outside is unpleasant, our spa facilities and pool offer the opportunity to spend the day in a deckchair.
