A stay at the charming B&B Residenza Castiglioni is like going back in time. Fall into a restful sleep, and dream of an ancient and romantic Florence. When you step inside this beautiful Renaissance palace, just a few steps from Florence’s train station, you literally enter another dimension. You have entered a magical place, a place like nowhere else.

The rooms are spacious, with high ceilings and tall windows that let the light flood in. Some are frescoed, some are decorated simply, timelessly, and all offer an historic atmosphere to be found nowhere else. The details don’t matter to everyone, but to us they are essential: from our genuine welcome to the little tips we offer to make your stay truly unforgettable.

We don’t compromise on breakfast: we offer only high-quality, choices made from genuine ingredients. For those with a sweet tooth we serve pastries, tarts, brown bread, and homemade yogurt, crisp bread, toast, butter, jam, and chocolate spread. For those preferring a savory start to the day, we offer cheeses, fresh mozzarella, salami, ham, mini wieners, smoked salmon. In addition we serve seasonal fruit whole, sliced, dried, as fruit salad, and vegetables, and breakfast cereal with milk. To your table we serve real espresso coffee and foamy cappuccino, regular coffee, hot chocolate, tea, warm milk, decaf coffee, and soy milk. Upon request we can provide gluten-free options for celiacs.

The location of our luxury B&B is just minutes from Santa Maria Novella train station, close to the Medici Chapels, the Duomo, and the Uffizi. From here you can enjoy all the beauty of central Florence.

Some hotels’ idea of welcome is more of a concept than a reality. But for us, a welcome has a face, eyes, a particular expression – this is our staff’s welcome, which every day does the maximum to make you feel the center of attention, to recommend the fastest solutions to any issue that might come up during your trip. At Residenza Castiglioni you will never feel alone: there will always be someone here to help.

The reception at our charming B&B in Florence is open every day from 7 am until 8 pm, and there is always someone available on the phone outside those hours. We can arrange guided tours and trips out of town, book restaurants, theater, cinema, and find anything else you might need.

We are the co-proprietors of a delicious restaurant just a few meters from our luxury B&B: CuCo Restaurant, which creates fresh meat and fish dishes daily. If you book your stay on this site, you will receive a 10% discount for when you’d like to dine at CuCo (upon reservation).

There is supervised garage 30 meters from the B&B. You can book a spot for €27 per day.

We arrange trips to Chianti with a private driver, to Pisa, Siena, and other charming Tuscan towns. We can also arrange a guide in your own language for visiting the Uffizi or other museums in Florence.

We welcome small-sized pets when booked ahead, with no conditions or insurance. Services available upon request.
