Welcome to our Hotel Aquamarin!

Our hotel is just a stone's throw away from the sea and when you enter our spacious lobby everyday life seems far away...At the reception your are warmly welcomed by our friendly staff, who are there to answer any question about your holiday, from beach chair or bike rental, to departure times of the “Molli”. The hotel has a lift up to the upper floors, and wireless internet (WLAN).

All holiday rooms are comfortably furnished, and fine dining is assured at our hotel restaurant. During the summer a favourite with our guests is the outside terrace and pavilion, and also the Irish Pub where you can enjoy a Guinness listening to live music. We offer separate rooms for conferences or family celebrations.

Come in and feel at home! Our lavishly appointed rooms allow you to retain your own way of living even during longer stays. In our hotel 99 comfortable holiday rooms are waiting for you. All rooms are equipped with television, telephone, bath and hairdryer. Our rooms are 20 to 40 m² in size and some rooms feature a balcony.

Enjoy the various gastronomic specialities in our hotel in Kühlungsborn. In the restaurant, at the bar or in the pub with patio - our culinary delights are there to pamper your palate. Savour the breakfast buffet in the morning, choose light and delicious snacks during
the day, let the sweet desserts and cakes seduce you to have some more or choose between à la carte dishes. Or what about enjoying a fruity cocktail or a "kühles Blondes" (a pint of lager) in the evening? Take a seat in our hotel bar or in the Irish Pub next to the restaurant. Our town is the largest Baltic seaside resort in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The healthy marine climate spoils you with its clean, low-pollen, and invigorating sea air. There is greenery wherever you look: along extensive tree lined streets, well-wooded areas hugging the coast, and municipal nature parks. The spacious beach with its soft, light-coloured sand invites the young, and also the young at heart.

Stroll along Germany's longest promenade and enjoy a clear view of the sea for 4.8 kilometres. Right behind the promenade you will find the elegant “Ostseeallee”, an avenue flanked by beautifully renovated mansions in the original style. Cafes, boutiques and craft shops invite you to coffee and cakes, and to find that special gift to take back home.

The Kühlungsborn marina, that opened in 2004, attracts all visitors with its maritime charm. It offers a fabulous view along the promenade onto the bustling goings-on within the harbour. Take a stroll along the adjoining pier for a great view out to sea, or hop aboard one of the local pleasure boats for a wonderful sightseeing trip.

How about art and culture during your holiday? The Kühlungsborn Gallery of Arts offers exhibitions, concerts, readings, lectures and courses. Studio “Kröhnke” presents works of art from three generations of painters. Train station Kühlungsborn West is more than just the train station of the historical narrow-gauge railway “Molli” for it shelters a railway museum and cafe as well. The variety of events from concerts to sports won't allow you to get bored.
