The “Goldner Stern” and the “Tagungshotel Sternla” are historic hotels in the “Land of Knights, Castles and Villages” – “Franconian Switzerland” in Upper Franconia, Bavaria, is one of Germany’s most popular holiday destinations. We have been documented as a “hotel and inn” since 1686.
We offer our guests modern, contemporary dining with a wide selection: from a simple snack to a sophisticated menu – whatever takes your fancy! Our hotel has 42 cosy rooms with 94 beds and excellent Franconian regional cuisine – “fresh ingredients” are our motto. A wellness area with an indoor swimming pool, which hotel guests can use free of charge, ensures your well-being. Our hotel is pet-friendly and child-friendly – everyone is welcome here!
Despite our long tradition, we are right up to date: our new wellness area is impressive, and we also have plenty to offer as a conference hotel.
Our cosy restaurant is, of course, open not only to our guests but also to walkers.
We offer the right service for your event – whether in our premises, at your venue or somewhere outdoors. With or without waiting staff. Drinks, food, cold platters, a beer tap, a marquee? Table decorations? A band for entertainment? A coach transfer for your guests?
Whatever you need, we’ll provide it – to a professional standard. For up to 500 people, we offer delicious Franconian cuisine in the Forchheim area – Franconian Switzerland – Upper Franconia.
If you want to play it safe: why not simply hire our party barn? Celebrate in a rustic setting – in fine weather in the courtyard between the barns, and in inclement weather in the large, spacious barn.
