Welcome to the Ohr holiday farm

Our holiday farm is located in Colmberg-Binzwangen, a quiet, tranquil village in the heart of the Frankenhöhe Nature Park. The farm lies in the valley of the small Altmühl river.

Over time, we have developed eight different types of accommodation, ranging from a historic farmhouse dating from 1882 to modern holiday apartments with contemporary architecture. The spacious grounds cover 7,000 square metres and feature various modern holiday homes, a historic farmhouse, a converted barn and an old renovated cobbler's house.

Our house offers a cosy holiday apartment with a room with a balcony offering breathtaking views of the surrounding area. We also cater for guests with special needs and provide rooms suitable for disabled and allergy sufferers. Each room is equipped with a TV and is non-smoking to ensure a comfortable and healthy stay for all guests.

Culinary delights

Although we do not have our own restaurant, our farm is ideally located for exploring the local cuisine and dining options in Colmberg. On our large play and sunbathing lawn, surrounded by a hedge, there is plenty of play equipment for your children and a sand/water playground, which is easily visible from the apartments. The family meadow is very popular with guests and offers sunny and shady places to relax – a holiday oasis for young and old!

Our daily coffee shop

Enjoy coffee, cake, Franconian pastries and tarts every day in our Franconian parlour. Here you can choose from a wide variety of coffee specialities from the coffee machine.

A large barbecue area is available for our holiday guests. Here you can barbecue with your family or in a cosy group with other holiday guests.

Junior farmer Simon and his girlfriend Annika are hunters. The game they hunt is processed in a regional butcher's shop. One of the products is Franconian wild game sausages, which you can purchase at our Ohr holiday farm, depending on availability.

In addition to wild game sausages from our own hunt, you can also purchase other meat specialities from us. Please feel free to ask us!

At the Ohr holiday farm, we strive to provide our guests with a comfortable and convenient stay. We offer parking facilities and our hotel is bicycle-friendly and welcomes motorcyclists. Guests can also hire bicycles on site to easily explore the beautiful surroundings. Our staff speak German and English to ensure that all guests feel welcome and supported during their stay. We accept cash in EUR as a method of payment.
