Our village of Habichsthal is nestled in a romantic valley in the wooded Spessart.

Away from the hustle and bustle, it offers guests the opportunity to recover from the stress of everyday life.

The modern guest rooms of our PENSION SONNENHANG are all equipped with shower/WC and balcony. From almost all of our rooms you have a marvellous view of the idyllically situated village of Habichsthal or the charming surroundings.

In addition to numerous activities that you can experience and organise in and around Habichsthal, you can also go fishing. In the fish-rich Auseen lakes, fishing enthusiasts can pursue their hobby in peace and seclusion.

The annual charcoal burner festival keeps alive the memory of an almost extinct craft. In the middle of the dense Spessart forest, guests from near and far can experience how charcoal, which was so important for glassmaking in the past, is made from wood scraps. They can then quench their hunger and thirst in a convivial atmosphere.
