Welcome to the Weinkrug guesthouse and wine bar in Triefenstein-Homburg!
Enjoy the family atmosphere of our guest house! Let us spoil you with culinary delights in the cosy wine tavern, in the rustic rock cellar or in the romantic garden restaurant! We offer you hearty Franconian specialities, seasonal delicacies, savoury snacks, rustic platters and buffets, as well as delicious Franconian wines and other fine drinks.
We offer you comfortably furnished guest rooms, all with shower, toilet, TV and some with balcony. Beautiful attic holiday apartment for up to 5 people, approx. 60 sqm with a large balcony and a magnificent view over the roofs of Homburg into the Main valley. The apartment is equipped with 1 bedroom, 1 living room with a sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, a bathroom/toilet, a hairdryer and a TV. Bed linen and towels are provided at no extra charge.
Your relaxation begins right in our house: a sauna, solarium, indoor swimming pool, sunbathing lawn, car park and barbecue area are available for our guests. Our house is child-friendly and pets are also welcome.
Our cosy wine tavern and rustic rock cellar are ideal for convivial wine tastings and similar events with wine connoisseurs! We are happy to offer vineyard tours and wine tastings on request. We always have a large selection of Franconian red and white wines from the renowned wineries Homburger Kallmuth and Homburger Edelfrau. The wines come from our own vineyards and from winegrowers in the region.
We are happy to give you tips and advice for your excursions. Places to visit: Homburg Castle with keep, Burkadusgruft stalactite cave, paper mill museum, Würzburg, Aschaffenburg, Miltenberg, Wertheim, or the Spessart are definitely worth a visit.

Ich war eigentlich sehr zufrieden, bemängeln muß ich: 1.die Toilettenbrürste war sehr schmutzig (braun) 2.die Matratze war sehr weich und gab fast bis auf die Auflage nach 3.die Betten wurden zur zweiten Nacht nicht gerichtet und aufgeschüttelt, das habe ich selber machen müssen 4.die Duschvorhänge reichten in der Dusche bis auf den Duschboden und da das Wasser sehr schlecht ablief, blieb Seifenschaum beim ablaufen zurück
2010/05/18Klein aber fein. Wir haben uns Alle sehr wohl gefühlt und waren von der exquisiten Küche sehr begeistert. Wir werden Sie weiter empfehlen.
2009/07/08Wir haben uns in diesem zwar einfachen, aber sehr zuvorkommenden und sauberen Gasthaus sehr wohlgefühlt, was sicher durch die sehr schöne Weinstube mit dem guten Essen und leckeren Wein noch aufgewertet wurde.Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt absolut.
