The HOTEL an der Marienkirche has been newly renovated in scandinavian style - practical and beautiful. Clear forms and colours blend with modern art. Whether you are discovering Lübeck´s cultural life, touring North Germany or visiting the city on business - you will be well looked after by us.

Simply enjoy: Whether culture, art or gastronomy - it is our pleasure to find out the right thing for you. Necessary rest periods can be enjoyed in our light, modern rooms.

Pale wood, pale fabrics and modern art give our 18 rooms their particular atmosphere. A lucky person can brush their teeth opposite the twin towers of the church of St. Mary. All rooms have en suite, television, telephone and internet connections are available.

We were the first non-smoking hotel in Lübeck.

Fresh fruits, muesli, a wide choice of cheeses, cold meats, wurst, fish, egg, jam, marmalade and lemon curd as well as various newspapers - our breakfast is a delight for the taste buds.

We are very centrally situated in the middle of the old town: Rooms look out on the Marienkirche and the Buddenbrook´s House. In a few minutes you can reach the Petrikirche, the Heiligengeist-Hospital or the Holsten Gate. You can lose yourself in the historic alleyways of the old town which have been a world heritage site since 1987 or stroll along the banks of the river Trave.
