MONTEPIANO is a country estate, in the north of Sabine, set on a hill 700 m a.s.l., in a medieval village of Montasola on the Salaria road (the ancient roman salt road) , just 50 minutes north of Rome. Montasola offers one of the most superb and relaxing view of the forested hills and, on the sky line, of the Etruscan region North of Rome (lake of Bracciano, Cimini mountains) and the S.Pietro cupola . There are no tourist buses or crowds of people. The Montepiano organic farm with nine hectares of olive trees and ten of forest, offers hospitality in the ancient Palazzo of Montasola , which has been in the same family for 3 centuries. Each of the apartaments is independent, comfortable and tastefully decorated with collections of country antiques and traditional furniture, each apartment has acces to furnished terrace or a charming roof garden. The guests will listen just the sounds of the nature while enjoying the wonderful Italian climate.
