Welcome to Café Pension Etzerfelsen.

Our family-run guest house is situated in the idyllic village of Maria Gern, just a 20-minute walk from the centre of Berchtesgaden.

The bus stop right outside the house (just one stop below the famous Maria Gern pilgrimage church) and the pick-up service for rail travellers are ideal.

The panoramic view from the Kehlstein to the Hochkalter from our sun terrace is particularly unique.

Let us spoil you in our café with homemade cakes, ice cream specialities or Bavarian snacks.

Our house offers bright and comfortable rooms with satellite TV, direct-dial telephone (ISDN), some with balcony, shower/WC or private shower outside the room. You can also book half board with us on request.

We serve a hearty breakfast in our lounge every morning.

The carefree package included in the room price includes free Wi-Fi in the house and parking fees.

The area around Maria Gern offers plenty of variety:

mountain biking, hiking, swimming (it takes about 15 minutes to walk to the natural alpine outdoor pool Aschauerweiher, in summer or the Watzmann thermal baths with an adventure brine pool and sauna facilities in winter).

Cross-country skiing, the trail is about 10 minutes away.
