Our elegant ****-Hotel is a family run accommodation establishment managed by Carlo Senoner, winner of the World Ski Championships of Portillo, Chile in 1966. Our beautiful house offers everything to guarantee perfect winter or summer holidays in Italy, with an elegant ambience, spacious and comfortable rooms and suites, a marvellous wellness area as well as culinary highlights of the local and international cuisine!

Our newly refurbished and very comfortable rooms offer the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. All rooms are spacious and fully equipped with bright bathrooms, living corner, balcony or terrace with amazing panoramic view on the Sella Group, the Sassoungo and the Cir peaks, very beautiful destinations on your hiking trip in Italy.

Is there anything better than a plunge into the warm water of our indoor swimming pool after an exciting day of mountain hiking in the Alps? The large Roman style indoor swimming pool of our Hotel Chalet Portillo offers a superb holiday retreat. The beautiful winter garden and the comfortable lounge chairs invite to sit back and to enjoy the surroundings.

During the winter months our region turns into a sunny eldorado for skiers, snowboarders and cross-country skiers. The closest lift facilities are only a 3-minute-walk away from our hotel. The famous Sellaronda circuit with hundreds of kilometres of perfectly prepared skiing slopes, modern lifts and indescribable scenery can be easily reached with our skibus.

The guests of our house are granted a special discount at the local ski school and the ski equipment rental shops. The traditional downhill skiing with our senior chef Carlo Senoner, winner of the World Ski Championships in Portillo, Chile (1966) is a very popular highlight of your winter walking vacations in Italy.
