Welcome to the City Hotel in Freiburg im Breisgau.

Located on the edge of the pedestrian zone in the vibrant university, cultural and trade fair city, our bed and breakfast hotel is the ideal starting point for exploring the sights of Freiburg. 42 tastefully furnished rooms await you. Our hotel also has its own parking spaces in the underground car park directly below the hotel (for a fee) – New: now also with 2 charging stations for e-cars!

We are a family-run hotel where the personality of the guest is still our top priority.

Our 15 single rooms and 25 double rooms are tastefully, warmly and contemporarily furnished. In the larger double rooms, you also have a seating area/sofa bed at your disposal. For families, we recommend our family apartment (2 double rooms with a connecting door) or our suite with living room (can be prepared with an extra bed for 2 additional people upon request), bedroom with double bed, large bathroom with bathtub and shower, and a kitchenette with a seating area. Extra-long duvets in all rooms ensure a higher level of sleeping comfort. All our rooms are equipped with a desk, shower/WC, hairdryer, cable TV, radio and telephone. In addition, our guests have access to three free Premiere channels (sports and movies), a free internet corner at the reception and Wi-Fi in the rooms .

In the morning, a varied breakfast buffet awaits you, including Black Forest ham, sausage from the Kaltenbach butcher's in Schallstadt, jam from the Faller company in Utzenfeld, bread rolls and bread from the Burger bakery in Gutach, and even eggs from ‘happy chickens’ at the Breitehof in Zarten – so you are guaranteed ‘Black Forest quality’! We are happy to fulfil special requests for gluten-free or lactose-free food – just ask us!
