Welcome to the Krone inn in Freiamt.

The Krone has been owned by the Kern family for more than 200 years and is already being run traditionally by the ninth generation. The farm on which the "Krone" is located today was a "Lehenshof" of the Tennenbach monastery and was first mentioned in the 14th century. It is called the "Trautmanns Lehen". The first innkeeper named Hütt or Hutt ran an inn on the estate as early as around 1700.

The rooms are bright and spacious and have modern bathrooms with shower/bath/WC. From our guest rooms you have a wonderful view of the idyllic surroundings. Five of the rooms have large south-west facing balconies.

Our restaurant offers a widely known and excellent cuisine. We attach great importance to freshness and quality of the prepared dishes. In keeping with the season, we offer a wide range of dishes, from homemade butcher's platters to roast goose.

From christenings to golden weddings ... we are there for you, whether in the smallest family circle or for a large party. Our hall can accommodate up to 70 people. Enjoy the wide range of our wine list both in summer on our south-west terrace and in winter with the tiled stove lit.
