Suits of armour and medieval cities will provide you with a first hand experience of history. White cherry blossom falls down from the cliffs in spring, lining paths and peaceful beauty spots. The summer is celebrated with festivals and music, boat trips and the ”Rhine in flames”, the yearly firework extravaganza. Clear autumnal days provide wonderful views of the changing colours of the glorious vines. Wine and Rhine both flow bathing the valley in their autumnal glow. And there is always plenty left over for quiet winter days, where our welcoming customs are in evidence in the warm reflections of our “Weinstuben” [wine bars] and our restaurants.
