St Georgen, set in the beautiful heart of the Black Forest, has a great deal to offer by way of leisure activities. Window-shopping through the town is definitely worthwhile, and so is a visit to our Phonomuseum and to the Schwarzes Tor, our local arts and crafts museum.

We can also invite you to a veritable Eldorado for those who love hiking – we have 250 kilo-metres of sign-posted hiking paths, as well as our magnificently healthy air. Whether you would like to spend a weekend or a fortnight with us, every day you will have new routes and landscapes to explore. We would be happy to send you a hiker’s map in advance.

Mountain-bikers and motorcyclists also appreciate the Black Forest with its beautiful chains of mountains. Whether you drop into our hotel on your way to somewhere else or want to set up your base camp here, you will feel at home with us. Your two-wheeled transportation will of course spend the night free of charge in our garage.
