Welcome to the Landhotel & Chalets Herrihof in Todtnauberg!

Todtnauberg is often called a little paradise in the mountains. It is embedded in the higher ridges in a marvelous mountainous region – far away from everyday’s traffic noise. The view of the waterfalls down in the valley is even more inspiring than the view of the Alps-panorama which can be seen in good weatherconditions.

As the Herrihof is situated on the southern slopes you can enjoy a gorgeous view of the Black Forest from our wintergarden or even from the new sun terrace.

Centered on our 7000 m² property lies the stately 120 years old Hotel Herrihof. The Hotel was refurbished in 2010 in close cooperation with the German monument protection service.

In this part of the building there is a restaurant with a traditional ambience and beautiful woodwork, and the modern architectural style wintergarden.

The two other buildings have also been meticulously and lovingly restored - so in addition to the country rooms with traditional rustic furniture created four new double rooms with new bathrooms and a spacious lounge area with air hockey and billiards area and a games and computer room.

We are especially proud to present to you our four log-structured Chalets. Our carpenter used only native wood to build the houses. They are well integrated in the surrounding nature and offer a good contrast to the historic building of the Herrihof.

After a long winter’s day, we invite you to use our sauna to warm up and relax before you enjoy a meal in our restaurant.

Take a seat in our authentic dining area with the typical Black Forest flair and enjoy the varied offerings of our head chef Hauke Peters. Besides our historic Restaurant, we offer you a sunny wintergarden with a gorgeous sight of the Black Forest. In the summer time you can enjoy a coffee with a piece of home made cake or little snacks on our terrace or in our garden directly beside our small pond.

The congeniality of the four seasons is to be seen especially multifaceted in the Black Forest region. During summer there is a species-rich flora thanks to the high-altitude and good air, autumn fascinates with the stunning coloring of the leaves, and winter offers fabulous skiing. In spring nature awakens in the forest and the meadows, radiating in new brilliance.

You can experience pure nature in every season and discover a new world with every visit.
