Bad Hönningen
Experience familiar cosiness at a high level. Lovingly selected pictures, warm colours and a cosy ambience will make you forget the stress of everyday life.
Our spacious guest rooms are all equipped with shower/WC, high-quality sprung beds, direct dial telephone, Wi-Fi, cable TV, minibar, room safe, hairdryer, desk and cosy seating.
We would like to make your breakfast as pleasant and enjoyable as possible.
Our regular breakfast times are from 7.30 am to 10.30 am.
Our jams are homemade. In general, we pay attention to regionality and seasonality ... but not 100%, because many people also appreciate our orange marmalade, which unfortunately does not grow here. We buy our sausage and meat products from a butcher's shop in the neighbouring village because we know where they come from. If you normally only eat wholesale products, you will be surprised by the difference in flavour. We buy our muesli and cereals from the cereal company with the capital ‘K’ and whether you think of Kölln or Kellogs ... You're right. You are right. Our bread products come from Austria and are freshly prepared by us in a special bread oven.
You can park your car either in our underground car park (for a fee) or directly at the hotel (free of charge).
Herb walk through the Hönning forest
On a walk through the woods and meadows we encounter many plants, some familiar, some completely unknown. In ancient times, herbalists knew which of these herbs could help with which illnesses. Some of these plants also provided variety and flavour in the cooking pot.
Go on a journey of discovery with an experienced nature educator and find out what there is to know about the ‘weeds’ by the wayside. Ancient knowledge of medicinal plants is mixed with interesting and amusing anecdotes, and culinary recommendations are not neglected either.
We look forward to seeing you!
