Welcome to ISSIGAU CASTLE in the Franconian Forest Nature Park!

Our cosy rooms and holiday flats are all located in the former servants' quarters of the castle. All single and double rooms are equipped with beds, bedside tables, carpeting, wardrobe, seating with table, lighting, TV system and have shower/WC with hairdryer and make-up mirror.

The holiday flats consist of a living room/bedroom, kitchen with dining area, bathroom (shower/WC) and TV connection. Flats for 3 and 4 persons have a children's room. For an extra charge, we also offer breakfast for our guests in the holiday flats.

In the breakfast room you will be served a rich breakfast consisting of coffee, tea, cappuccino or cocoa, rolls/toast, bread, wholemeal bread, butter, egg, various types of sausage & cheese, jam and juices at the table from 7:30 - 10:00 am. Fruit, muesli, cornflakes and co. are available in buffet form.

Our kitchen offers a rich selection of regional as well as international dishes and drinks. For afternoon coffee we spoil you with homemade cakes and pastries, or our ice cream specialities. Whether in the wine tavern (vaults from the 16th century), on the terrace or in the cosy guest room, an evening flies by.

If you want to unwind, why not make use of our sauna, solarium or reading room. If you prefer a bit more sport, you can play table tennis or go to the fitness room. When the weather is nice, you can also relax outside on one of the deckchairs and dream away the day.

A wide range of leisure activities such as fishing, horse riding, bowling, table tennis, garden chairs, rental bikes and much more are available. For your stay with little guests with us, we are happy to provide you with some aids such as a cot, high chair, baby monitor etc. free of charge by arrangement. Motorcyclists and groups are also welcome.
