Our house is situated in beautiful surroundings, quiet yet central, next to the birthplace of the famous German painter Hans Thoma and the well-known Resenhof Museum below the Magic Forest Trail.

The hotel is a jewel box that can hardly be surpassed in comfort and hospitality. For our hotel guests we offer a very rich breakfast buffet with various cold cuts and cheese platters, fish, vital muesli corner, different types of bread and rolls, as well as egg and milk products, juices and products from the region. Let your stay become an experience in a cosy atmosphere and excellent service.
Our modern and comfortably furnished rooms have shower and WC, partly sauna and infrared sauna, hairdryer, safe, telephone, satellite TV, WLAN, sitting area, writing desk. Some rooms have a balcony.
In our restaurant we spoil you with a widely known local and international speciality cuisine as well as specialities from our own confectionery.

Wir hatten ein paar wunderschöne Tage im Hotel Restaurant Bären. Hervorzuheben ist die sehr zuvorkommende Bedienung und der Service des Personals. Es war ein erholsamer Aufenthalt, der uns durch die kurzweilige und amüsante Kommunikation, auch mit dem Personal, sehr gut gefallen hat. Frühstück war klasse, wir haben nur mit Frühstück gebucht, aber auch das Essen, welches wir hin und wieder a la Carte genossen haben, war einwandfrei, geschmacklich sowie der Größe der Portionen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder, sowie als Hotelgäste, als auch als Restaurantbesucher.
