Welcome to the Convento da Provenco at Portalegre! The convent retraces to the early Middle Age, belonging to the Frades Biguinos, followers of voluntary poverty. The building was restored in the 15th century, ba Bishop D. Jorge de Melo, whose weapons still remain next to the gate of the patio. The touristic unit is composed of 7 rooms and two suites, all equipped with air conditioning, television, hair drier, safe, mini bar, telephone and internet access. There is also a room for children, a multi-use room for conferences and other events, a swimming pool and a walking zone.
