A warm welcome to our very traditional family run hotel and restaurant 'Zur Bretzel' since 1859!

The pleasantness of our location is the quitness which allows wonderful dreams.

What we also want to emphasize is the nearness to the main cities in the Rhein-Main-area. Frankfurt with all his fairs and companys and the sciene city of Darmstadt can be reached within half an hour. A visit to the Odenwald mountains is worth a trip for nature lovers. In the surrounding area there are a lot of historical citys with wonderful old buildings like Seligenstadt, Michelstadt, Erbach or Aschaffenburg.

We invite you to stay in a typical German half timberd house which was rebuilt in two steps. In 1984 we started with the first 5 rooms which were previously used for housing farm animals. In 1991 the second building, an old barn, was remodeled for another 12 rooms. For the architect, it was very important to preserve the character of the building which can be seen by the very large staircase. It takes nearly half of the building.

Now, all in all we have 17 rooms:

7 with double beds, 5 twin beds and 5 single beds. All rooms are nicely furnished, and have a bathroom, a radio, TV and a desk.

There is also a conference room which can accomodate up to 12 persons.

The restaurant is well known in Langstadt and the surrounding area. We are famous for our home made sausages (the owner Helmut is a butcher).
