The Gasthof & Pension Zur Frischen Quelle in Heigenbrücken is ideal for a stop-off after hikes and walks and also welcomes coach companies. Cyclists will also be delighted, as the hotel has been classified and recognised as ‘bicycle-friendly’ by the Bavarian Hotel and Restaurant Association.

We, the Weber family, and our long-standing staff also cater for countless family and club celebrations in our individual guest rooms, cater for parties of up to 80 people in the large hall and also organise in-house events.

You will feel at home in the rustic rooms and be spoilt by the many delicacies of the regional cuisine, including seasonal events such as asparagus, game and wine weeks or the Franconian Bratwurst Week.

Anyone wishing to stay overnight or for longer in Heigenbrücken can enjoy the relaxing comfort of the cosily furnished guest rooms. A total of 7 double rooms (some with balcony) and 1 single room are available - an extra bed is available on request for younger guests.

Half-board is available for stays of 4 days or more and includes a 3-course menu (with a choice of main course), which can be selected for lunch or dinner.

A lounge with TV (satellite connection) and a playroom for children are also available.

Room 13 - this is a highlight in Heigenbrücken. Enjoy our roof terrace above the rooftops of the village - at our events or at your own personal event.

Room 13 has a long history. Because there should be no room with the number 13 in hotels, the room in question was not rented out, but served as a playroom for the hotel's children and their friends. In reference to the many pleasant memories of our own childhood and youth, the name ZIMMER 13 now receives its long-deserved honour - and a use as a modern and innovative restaurant location.
