Welcome to the Hotel Gasthof Glückauf.

Our family business is already in its fourth generation. We were one of the first inns in Wackersdorf. A proud age – and that is precisely why it is important to us to continue the tradition. Enjoy the family atmosphere of our house in a central location in Wackersdorf, right in the heart of the Upper Palatinate Lake District. Our kitchen offers fresh, seasonal, regional and international dishes.

Our dining room seats up to 40 guests, while our hall can accommodate up to 120 people, making it ideal for family and company celebrations, club events and weddings. We also regularly come up with new ideas for seasonal events such as Father's Day festivals, church fairs and barbecues with music, offering a variety of opportunities to get away from it all.

One of the hotel's trump cards is its exceptional location. On the one hand, it is quietly situated in the centre of the Upper Palatinate Lake District, and on the other hand, it is connected to several major cities by an excellent infrastructure.

All rooms are equipped with shower, toilet, radio and telephone. In addition, the hotel has a health centre where various massages and other treatments are offered. We can also provide a conference room for up to 50 people.

The hotel is connected to a physiotherapy practice run by the son. You can stay in the hotel and, for example, attend physiotherapy prescribed by a doctor while on holiday. Or you can simply treat yourself to a great massage after a hard day's work. Healthcare doesn't get much better than this.

Wackersdorf and the Upper Palatinate Lake District offer everything that makes life worth living: peace, fun, relaxation and enjoyment, but thanks to the excellent infrastructure, the big cities can be reached quickly and easily.
