The QUINTA DO SALGUEIRO is located in the North-Eastern of Portugal on the outskirts of the village of Freixo de Espada À Cinta, next to the Spanish border and right in the middle of the Douro Natural Park. The river Douro region, well known for its vineyards, is where the famous Port wine comes from.

In the Quinta do Salgueiro you will be welcome by MARGARIDA Guerra Junqueiro, who established this tourism house after having made an international career in tourism, and hôtellerie.

This, recently restored, XIX century house provides a calm and comfortable setting, whilst enjoying the peace of the magnificent Trás os Montes region.

Surrounded by vines, olive and almond trees, QUINTA DO SALGUEIRO offers you 7 rooms and 1 suite, all with air conditioning, private bathrooms and with direct access to the garden and swimming pool. Two halls and a dining room complete the setting.

Everything is arranged to give you a pleasant stay and close contact with Nature.
