The guesthouse and farm stay LA SABBIONA is located in a panoramic position in the wonderful hills which surround the ancient Tower of Oriolo dei Fichi, in the heart of the Emilia Romagna Region, just a few kilometres from Faenza. The farm has 28 hectares fo land, 16 of which are vineyards of Centesimino, Sangiovese, Famoso, Albana, Trebbiano, Syrah, Chardonnay and Malvasia grapes. Grains, fruits and olives are grown on the remaining land.

La Sabbiona is an expression of the great passion that the Altini family have for their land, envisioned as a place of meeting and sharing good genuine flavors. The hospitality and agricultural activity are carried out by the family and are based on features of conviviality, tradition and respect for the land, which is typical of the most authentic Romagna.

Very close to Faenza (Ravenna), nestled among the green hills of Oriolo dei Fichi, the farm stay La Sabbiona offers its guests different lodging solutions (rooms, one-room apartments and two-room apartments) all with air-conditioning and wi-fi:

The winery La Sabbiona is part of the wineries of the Oriolo dei Fichi area, set in a landscape of rolling hills just a few kilometres from Faenza. Albana and Sangiovese, autochthonous grape varieties of the Emilia Romagna Region, are grown in the vineyard, along with some lesser known ones with characteristic scents and flavors, like Famoso and Centesimino. The care of the vineyards, the selection and hand-picking of the best grapes and the winemaking process using the most modern technologies create DOC and IGT wines typical of Romagna: sparkling, white, red and sweet wines suitable to be combined with both traditional and international dishes.

In this area rich in nature, art and history, the Altini family wants to keep the ancient flavors and traditions of Romagna alive, offering hospitality in a welcoming country-house restored in harmony with the past and the comforts of the present.
