Welcome to the Hotel Vega Apartments in Tinos - a newly built (2008) hotel complex of self-contained apartments in the area of Agios Markos (Founaria).

Tinos is a wonderful island in the Cyclades cluster, considered one of the up-and-coming vacation spots in Greece. What is most surprising about Tinos Greece, is that it possesses all the characteristics that visitors are looking for in a Greek Island holiday spot, without the hustle and bustle of the major tourist resorts. The island of Tinos is also world-famous for its art (mainly sculpture, painting and basket-weaving), as well as its architecture, particularly its intricately-decorated dovecots, marble and stone-brick houses, narrow alleyways and staircases, and marble signs.

The 7 uniquely individual apartments are situated on the hillside, with a panoramic view of the Aegean sea and the surrounding islands. Its west facing aspect provides the ideal place to observe and enjoy the spectacular sunsets.

The hotel takes its name from one of the basic stars in the constellation of Lyra. It is the fifth brightest star in the sky and it can clearly be seen in mid August. Together with the bright stars Deneb and Altair it forms ‘the summer triangle’.
