Welcome to Hotel Post Victoria *** s Ritten.

We own two neighbouring buildings: Hotel POST and Hotel VICTORIA, 50 metres away from Hotel POST. Both hotels are historical buildings of the 11th and 12th centuries. In 2062 Hotel POST will be 1000 years old!

“Only a house with a history can tell a story.” Whether in front of the fireplace, in the hotel’s own library, in the Biedermeier salon with its upright-piano or in the old “Zirbelstub’”, this house has many stories to tell from the last 10 centuries.

The value of a hotel room doesn’t depend from its size or how it is furnished, it depends of the soul living in it. All romms offer bath/shower, WC, satellite TV, safety lock, telephone, and partly balcony.

Our range of culinary delights is rich and goes from South Tyrol delicacies to international cuisine to Italian specialities, from light, simple, Mediterranean dishes, to tasty and filling ones. We have something for every occasion and every appetite.

Our indoor swimming pool which is 17 by 6 metres is certainly no paddling pool. Children enjoy playing with the jet for under water massages just as much as adults enjoy its benefits for muscle relaxation. The wide panorama windows give you the sensation of taking a dip in a mountain lake amidst the giant Dolomites of the South Tyrol Alpine world.

The facilities are balanced by the large meadows in the park, the sun terrace, the panorama Café, the children’s playground, and the petting zoo.

But the unique quality of Hotel POST and Hotel VICTORIA is the breathtaking panorama view. From the house you have an unimpeded view of the giants of the Dolomites. The proud peaks of the Rosengarten, Latemar and Schlern and many more are your closest neighbours for the length of your stay with us.

Our Rittner hiking trails cover over 360 km of marked and a further 350 km of unmarked hiking routes – in total over 700 km! You can’t manage that all in one visit…perhaps it’s another reason to come again.
